The Southfield Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity organized to develop a collection of permanent funds for the long-term benefit of Southfield and Lathrup Village. The Foundation currently awards approximately $50,000 in annual GRANTS to humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations serving Southfield and Lathrup Village. The Foundation's current grant giving priorities are:

• Issues and activities that promote the Celebration of our Diversity
• Programs that enhance the quality of Education in our community
• Youth related projects and activities
