The Southfield Community Foundation's Mission is to enhance the quality of life
for those who work or live in our community.
The Southfield Community Foundation's Goal is to create and sustain an integrated community in which people want to live, work, and raise families. To accomplish this, SCF will:
- Support people, programs and organizations that create a sense of community
- Support efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the Southfield Public School District
- Assist the development of a youth-friendly community
- Seek ways to maintain and strengthen our community's wide diversity and its integration into everyday life
- Support efforts to assist those in need

The Southfield Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity organized to develop a collection of permanent funds designed to meet both the long-term and the changing needs of Southfield and Lathrup Village. The Foundation currently awards approximately $60,000 in annual GRANTS to humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations serving Southfield and Lathrup Village.
