Permanent Funds
One of the goals of The
Southfield Community Foundation is to develop a
series of permanent funds to support ongoing grants
back to the community.
Permanent Funds provide donors with a flexible
tool for supporting their charitable interests through
perpetual grants to the community. Gifts to the Southfield
Community Foundation permanent funds qualify for the
Michigan State Tax Credit.
Individuals may qualify for a 50% MI tax credit on gifts
of up to $200 per year. Married individuals, filing
jointly, qualify for gifts up to $400. Corporations
qualify for a 50% MI tax credit on the SBT for gifts
up to $10,000.
The following is a description of permanent funds that
have been established within the Southfield Community
Foundation. For information on adding to these funds,
or creating additional funds (see Types
of Funds), please call Warren Goodell at 248-796-4190.
