The Women's Fund: A Unique and Permanent Legacy

Driven by a desire to support women and children in need, a group of visionary women generously donated funds to launch an endowment fund at the Southfield Community Foundation. The Women's Fund has created, and ensures, a legacy of giving -- a purse -- to support women for generations to come. The Mission of the Fund is to:

• Establish a permanent source of support for women in need of assistance living in Southfield and Lathrup Village.
• Advance equity for women and children
• Ensure social justice for women and children

Administered by the Foundation with the advice of a volunteer board of advisors, The Women's Fund seeks to provide grants to 501(c)(3), non-profit organizations and programs that provide direct charitable assistance to women and their families.
